You know what I really miss?
I miss my mom and grandma taking care of me whenever I was sick. I remember they used to bring me hot face towels to wipe my face and my body, then they’d wash it and lay it on my head. I remember their soft hands feeling my face to see if I had a temperature, then caressing my hair and pushing it back until I fell asleep. Now when I’m sick, like last night and today, I’m left to reminisce on those memories and to take care of myself. I guess it’s all apart of growing up. &Honestly, I hate it.
I miss you Mom & Apu. With every inch of my life.
